TwoNests is a co-parenting app built for parents who genuinely want to work together — and especially for shift workers juggling long, rotating, or overnight schedules. The tone stays warm and encouraging. Never a battle.
Tell us a little about your household and we'll email you a one-time access code and the app link once you're approved.
Nine small, focused tools — not a wall of features. Each one exists because something about co-parenting well was falling through the cracks without it. Want the full walkthrough, screen by screen? See the guide »
One shared calendar both parents add to — plus recurring events, so nobody re-types "soccer, every Monday" all season. Tap any day to see what's already on it before adding something new.
Tell it your rotation once — 4-on/3-off, overnight, whatever it is — and it fills the calendar automatically.
Food (including bottles — ounces, formula or breast milk), sleep, potty, and medicine logs with "logged by" attribution — plus a spot for allergies, so nothing critical gets missed at a handoff.
A shared checklist for pickup, drop-off, or a nest changeover — nothing forgotten, no scorekeeping.
Shared photos, videos, and milestones like first steps and first words — tap any one to view it full-size. Plus the occasional memory pop-up to warm the heart on an ordinary day.
Free and low-cost things to do together, starting with a ready-made bank of ideas — with a "surprise me" button and your own pick of date and time when you schedule one.
Invite grandparents, babysitters, or teachers into exactly the parts of the app that are relevant to them — even scoped to just one child, if you have more than one.
A light running balance for shared expenses. Here if you need it — but never the focus.
Quick, kind words for each other. Not a chat log, not a record — just the small things worth saying.
Choose the arrangement that matches your household — and switch anytime from settings.
Your child moves between two separate homes. The calendar, handoff checklist, and shift scheduling all work the traditional way.
You're together, one household — TwoNests helps you coordinate childcare and duty around each of your own work shifts.
Most co-parenting apps are built around one assumption: that you and your co-parent are adversaries who need a paper trail. TwoNests starts from a different one.
A kid doesn't experience a custody arrangement the way adults experience a legal one. They experience whether the two people raising them feel like a team. Every feature here is judged against one question: does this help a child feel steady and loved across two homes — not just organized?
Everyday TwoNests is free, and it stays that way. But some families — especially in higher-conflict situations, or under a court order — need a reliable record. TwoNests Keep is that layer: the warm alternative to the cold, expensive court apps. It's optional, opt-in, and off by default — there only when your family needs it.
Once a message is sent, it can't be quietly changed or deleted. Every entry is timestamped and locked into a verifiable history.
Your record is certified by a trusted outside timestamp — so "when" isn't just our word for it, it's independently verifiable.
A clean, paginated, timestamped export you can hand an attorney or file with the court — no scramble to screenshot months of history.
Share a calm, read-only link with a mediator, lawyer, or guardian ad litem — no login for them to juggle, and you can revoke it anytime.
Log shared costs and support with locked, tamper-evident receipts. The money moves in your own app — TwoNests just keeps the record, so no one holds anyone's funds.
Private in-app voice and video with your co-parent, each call logged for the record.
$129 a year — both parents and your invited caregivers included. Not per parent. For comparison, OurFamilyWizard, TalkingParents, and AppClose all bill per parent, so a family pays roughly $150–$600 a year. Keep is less than half what one parent pays on OurFamilyWizard, and it covers everyone. Hardship and domestic-violence fee waivers are always available.
If yours isn't here, the feedback box just below reaches me directly.
Yes — the whole thing is free while it's in beta. No trial, no credit card, no catch. If that ever changes down the road, beta testers will be the first to know and won't be surprised by it.
Request access up top with your email — we're bringing families in gradually so we can actually keep up with feedback during the beta. You'll get an email with a one-time access code and the app link once you're approved, usually within a day or two.
No need to request access again — just open the app directly here and log in with your username and password (or Google/Microsoft, if you connected one). Worth bookmarking it or adding it to your home screen this time so it doesn't happen again — instructions are up in the hero section above.
Your family's calendar, care logs, moments, and notes are only visible to the parents (and any village members you specifically invite) in your family — nobody else can see them. This is still a beta, so treat it the way you'd treat any early product: great for day-to-day coordination, not the only copy of anything irreplaceable.
No app store needed. Open the link on your phone and add it to your home screen (instructions are up in the hero section above) — it behaves just like an installed app from there, icon and all.
Once you're set up, Settings has an invite code you can text or email straight to your co-parent. Grandparents, babysitters, and other supporters get their own separate invite code with narrower access — visible in the Village tab inside the app.
Yes, anytime, right from Settings. Nothing is locked in — your family's actual living situation can change and the app can change with it.
Please tell me! The feedback box just below sends details straight to my inbox — or use the feedback form right inside the app, under Settings. Beta testers finding the rough edges is exactly how this gets better.
The full guide walks through every screen — Calendar, Care, Handoff, Moments, Ideas, Village, Shared Costs, Notes, and Settings — with exactly how to use each one.
This goes straight to my inbox — no ticket system, no bot, just me reading it. Thank you for testing this with us.
