Plain-language explanations of what TwoNests collects, why, and what you're agreeing to by using it. Last updated July 7, 2026.
TwoNests exists to help two households coordinate care for a shared child. Here's what that means for your data.
A parent can invite a caregiver aged 16 or older β a βHelper,β like a babysitter β to a limited, shift-scoped view: the schedule, essential care info (allergies, medicine, emergency contact), and care logging for the shifts the parent assigns, and nothing else. Helpers don't create their own TwoNests account and don't download the app under their own identity β the parent shares an invite code/link with them directly, and we only collect the Helper's first name. The inviting parent confirms the Helper is 16 or older and has their guardian's permission, and can end that access at any time. TwoNests never contacts a Helper directly, and Helper access is never available to anyone under 16.
If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft instead of a username/password, TwoNests only ever receives your name, email address, and a unique account ID from that provider β enough to identify you, nothing more. We don't request access to your email inbox, calendar, contacts, or files, and we never post anything on your behalf. You can still set a regular username/password at any time from Settings.
Passwords are never stored as plain text. Each one is salted and hashed before it's saved, so even in the unlikely event of a database breach, your actual password isn't exposed.
TwoNests is a tool for parents to coordinate care for their kids β it isn't used directly by children, and we don't knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 13. Information about a child (name, birthday, care logs, photos) is entered by their parent, for that family's own coordination use only. The only under-18 access TwoNests offers is the parent-invited Helper role (16+), described above β a scoped, parent-controlled view, not an independent account.
You can edit or delete anything you've added β events, logs, moments, notes β right from the app; that standard applies to everything. To delete your account entirely or request a full export of your family's data, email twonests@outlook.com.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change and, where practical, active users will be notified in-app.
By creating a TwoNests account, you're agreeing to these terms.
TwoNests is a care-coordination tool β a shared calendar, logs, and light communication space for co-parents. It is not a legal service, does not provide legal or medical advice, and nothing in the app constitutes or replaces a custody order, parenting plan, or court filing. For legal matters, please consult a qualified attorney; for medical concerns about your child, consult a licensed medical professional.
A parent may invite a caregiver aged 16 or older (a βHelperβ) to a limited view scoped to assigned shifts β schedule, essential care info, and care logging only, with no access to parent messages, records, finances, or settings. Helper access is parent-created and parent-managed: the inviting parent confirms the Helper is 16 or older and has their guardian's permission, remains responsible for that access, and can revoke it at any time. Access is time-boxed to the assigned shift(s), and Helpers do not create their own account. Helper access is not available to anyone under 16.
TwoNests is built and maintained by a single independent developer. We work to keep it running smoothly, but like any online service it may occasionally be slow, unavailable, or interrupted for maintenance, and features may change over time. Please don't rely on TwoNests as your only record of anything safety-critical (like medication dosing) without also keeping your own backup notes.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove an account that's used to harass another user, misuse a child's data, or otherwise abuse the service.
TwoNests is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including data loss (see the note above about photo and video storage).
These terms may be updated as TwoNests grows and evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
Questions about these terms or the privacy policy above? Email twonests@outlook.com β a real person (the developer) reads and replies.
